摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal injection method provided with an injection chamber and a heating chamber and capable of normally injecting a liquid crystal into a cell without being affected by the heat from the heating chamber. SOLUTION: The cell 13 and a liquid crystal tray 14 are carried into the injection chamber 26. A valve 22 is opened to evacuate the injection chamber by using a vacuum pump 24 and then the valve 22 is closed. The liquid crystal tray 14 is lifted by means of a liquid crystal tray lifting/lowering mechanism 30 to bring the liquid surface of the liquid crystal 6 into contact with the cell 13. The liquid crystal 6 is injected into the cell 13 by opening a valve 23, introducing a nitrogen gas into the injection chamber 26 until the pressure within the injection chamber reaches the normal atmospheric pressure and closing the valve 23. A gate valve 20 is opened to carry out the cell 13 and the liquid crystal 14 to the heating chamber 27 by means of a cell and liquid crystal tray carrying-out mechanism 31 and closing the gate valve 20. After that, the injection chamber 26 is evacuated by using the vacuum pump 24, the valve 22 is closed, the valve 23 is opened, the nitrogen gas is introduced to the injection chamber 26 until the pressure reaches the normal atmospheric pressure, the valve 23 is closed and the next cell 13 and the next liquid crystal tray 14 are carried in the injection chamber 26.
