PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avert contact of a head and a disk-like recoding medium by sufficiently suppressing the influence of dynamic external vibration or impact. SOLUTION: A head slider 102 is mounted on a supporting block 104 across a gimbals spring 103a. Further, the supporting block 104 is mounted on a head arm 105 across a torsion bar 103c. When the head slider 102 is impressed with the inertia force by an external acceleration, the motion in a translation direction and the motion in a rotation direction are induced in the head slider 102 by the torsion bar 103c and the displacement in the head position by accompanying the translation motion and the displacement of the head position by accompanying the rotation motion are made opposite in directions from each other and are made equal in the absolute value to each other.
