PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk player which keeps the stability of a disk under operation and has easy lid control. SOLUTION: A disk player 100 has a main body 1 on which the disk is loaded, and a LID(lid) 2 turnably journalled on the main body 1, and is further provided with an energizing means to energize the LID 2 by a spring 4 in an open state, and a locking means to hold the lid in a closed state by the engagement of a cam lock part 5 with a LID lock part 6. When the open demand for the LID 2 is received during the reproduction of the disk, the shift to the open state of the LID 2 in the closed state is performed when the reproduction is completely in an idle state or the rotation of the disk is sufficiently lowered.
