PROJECTION DISPLAY SYSTEM AND PROJECTOR FOR THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique of easily displaying one continuous image by using plural units of projectors. SOLUTION: This projection display system comprises plural units of the projectors. The respective projectors have display image forming sections for forming display image signals indicating the display images displayed on projection surfaces by using original image signals. The display image forming sections have number-of-unit information memory sections for storing the number-of-unit information of the projectors constituting the projection display system, identification information memory sections for storing the identification information allocated to their own projectors and extracting and enlarging sections for forming the extracted and enlarged images by executing the extraction processing to extract the partial images of portions or the whole of the original images indicated by the original image signals according to the number-of-unit information and the identification information and executing the enlargement processing to enlarge the data sizes of the extracted partial images.
