PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a polyester composition for a film to be laminated on a metal plate having good particle dispersibility and film formability and excellent whiteness, adhesion to the metal plate, formability at a can producing process, wear resistance, printability and heat resistance and the film composed for the composition. SOLUTION: This polyester composition for the film to be laminated on the metal plate contains a titanium dioxide particle containing magnesium element, calcium element and phosphorus element and has <=0.20 dl/g lowering of intrinsic viscosity after melt represented by the following formula: the lowering of intrinsic viscosity after melt is [η]0-[η]8 wherein, [η]0 is intrinsic viscosity (dl/g) before the melt; and [η]8 is intrinsic viscosity (dl/g) after melted at 280 deg.C for 8 min under being sealed with nitrogen}. |
