PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus which is focused irrespective of a place where a photoelectric conversion element of a photoelectric conversion chip or the photoelectric conversion chip on a substrate is placed and to provide an imaging system. SOLUTION: A plurality of the photoelectric conversion chips including photoelectric conversion elements outputting the photoelectric conversion signals of light converged in a lens are arranged on the concave face of the substrate having the concave face. The curvature of the concave face is set so that the focal distances of the lens are equal or are substantially equal in a plurality of the photoelectric conversion chips.
