SOLUTION: The equipment control system is constituted of controlled equipment 40 having an equipment terminal 51 and a telephone 10 or the communication unit of the Internet, etc. The system is provided with a simple configuration for adding the equipment terminal 51 to the controlled equipment 40. There is no restriction concerning the installation place of the controlled equipment 40 and the equipment 40 is controlled by communication from the outside.
