METHOD AND STRUCTURE FOR CONNECTION OF RIGID PRINTED- CIRCUIT BOARD TO FLEXIBLE WIRING BOARD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To connect a flexible wiring board to a rigid printed-circuit board with superior economy and reliability so that the respective boards can be replaced even after they are connected. SOLUTION: A through hole 23 which can accept the flexible wiring board 1 is formed in the rigid printed-circuit board 2. The board 1 is inserted into the through hole 23 in such a way that conductors 12 on the board 1 face conductor circuits 22 formed at the inside of the through hole 23. A fixing member 3 is press-fitted to the through hole 23. The board 1 is fixed to the board 2, and the conductors 12 on the board 1 are connected to the conductor circuits 22 on the board 2.
