PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation device with enhanced operability for adding transit points. SOLUTION: The car navigation device includes a display monitor 8 for displaying a map and a course searching device for searching a course according to the input departure point, transit points and destination. A transit point adding screen 203 is displayed in combination with the map being displayed. A transit point to be added is specified on the map and a column for adding a transit point is selected on the screen. The transit point specified is displayed in the column selected.
