PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a facsimile system that can circulate data to all facsimile terminals in a circulation group to the end even when the setting of a circulation transfer mode does not take much time and labor for the entire circulation group and the reception capability of each facsimile terminal differs from each other. SOLUTION: The facsimile system is configured such that one facsimile terminal can circulate a circulation transfer mode setting signal to other facsimile terminals being terminals of the circulation group, stores required information from the circulation transfer mode setting signal when receiving the signal form other facsimile terminal to set a circulation transfer mode, gives the reception capability of its own terminal to the circulation mode setting signal and transmits the resulting signal to the facsimile terminal being a circulated terminal.
