PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an indoor lock allowing even an amateur or a woman to simply fit a lock metal fixture with only a high-tenacity adhesive and screws without being required to form a drilled hole for inserting the lock metal fixture for locking on the side of a door frame and immediately serving as the safe indoor lock which cannot be opened by a duplicate key or a picking tool and has no anxiety for ventilation even when a gas stove or the like is used in winter in particular due to a gap of about 5 mm when a door is slightly pulled. SOLUTION: This indoor lock can be simply fitted by the woman with only the high-tenacity adhesive and screws on the door side and the door frame side to allow the woman to sleep without anxiety at night in a room of a single young woman. It serves as the indoor lock when an insertion rod is merely inserted into the lock metal fixture. When it is fitted to the outside window of a house, it becomes a safer lock when a screw is fitted to the tip of the insertion rod. When a gap of 5-15 mm is to be opened, a chain is wound several turns to obtain an adjustable door chain indoor lock III.
