PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flush valve device for water closet for increasing the degree of freedom for the installing positions for flush valve main body or an operation device. SOLUTION: The flush valve device 20 is equipped with a flush valve main body 22 connected to a city water supply source and an operation device 50. The operation device 50 is equipped with an operation button 63, and a flexible inner cable 71 constituting a cable mechanism 70. The inner cable 71 is arranged from the rearward to the sideward of the water closet main body 12 and is connected to the operation button 63. By the pressing operation of the operation button 63, the flush valve main body 22 is opened and washing water is supplied to the main body 12.
