An device for the delivery of pills or tablets is described. The device comprises a main body (3) and a plunger (2). An upper jaw (4) and a lower jaw (5), are separated by a horizontal slot (11). The jaws include opposed camming surfaces (19, 21). An opening (20) is provided in the upper jaw so that a pill can be placed into a space in the barrel. The piston of the plunger then pushes apart the jaws such that the lower jaw flexes downward through which the pill exits. The piston does not touch the pill.
