<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector for a cable in a simple and convenient form which prevents an inlet (exposure side end portion) of a wire insertion hole of a packing from being rolled up, prevents water, oil, etc., from gathering in a rolled-up gap which may be formed in the conventional case, and eliminates the sense of uneasiness of an appearance for waterproofing, in a connector for a cable which uses the packing for a multicore cable. SOLUTION: This connector for a cable is provided with a connector main body (1), a packing (3), having a plurality of wire insertion holes (31) for a cable, which are arranged in the connector main body (1) and penetrate to the axial line direction, and compressing means (4, 5) for compressing the packing (3) in the direction where the exposure side end portion of the hole (31) is constricted.</p> |
