PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging device which realizes the optimum and simple operation, reliable blur corrective operation, and effective power-saving as the imaging device for recording and storing photographed image information on a recording medium. SOLUTION: In operation modes other than a recording mode (N of S2), the supply of drive electric power for a shake detecting means or a blur correction means is stopped (S14). Only when a recording mode for primary photographing is selected (Y of S2), drive electric power is supplied to the blur detecting means or the blur correction means (S5, S6). Thereby, the reliable blur corrective operation is performed while realizing power-saving as much as possible, such operational control is realized only by performing a normal mode selection operation, and by a simple operating method because switches or the like are not separately provided. |
