PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing unit by which a user can easily retrieve a desired telephone number. SOLUTION: The user sequentially enters desired telephone numbers and an entered numeral display section 71 displays numerals of each entered telephone number. For example, when '0' is entered, the entered numeral display section 71 displays '0'. Furthermore, a telephone number display section 72 displays telephone numbers whose 1st digit is '0' among the registered telephone numbers. When the user newly enters numerals, the telephone number display section 72 displays only telephone numbers including the entered numerals as their arrangement.
