PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To set a time difference binarization threshold which is the smallest value as much as possible adaptively to a photographic environment, and to properly decide an object area extracted from a time difference binary image based on the set threshold. SOLUTION: The maximum values of the time differences of the whole pixels of an image in a photographic area are calculated, and a time difference binarization threshold which is the smallest value as much as possible for preventing any noise from being detected according to a photographic environment is calculated based on the mean value of the group of the maximum values and standard deviation, and a mobile object in the photographic area is detected from the time difference binarization image prepared based on the time difference binarization threshold. |
