PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic album display method, an electronic camera provided with an electronic album function, and an electronic album system, which efficiently extract and display desired data from vast amounts of image data preserved in an external image database. SOLUTION: A number of image data are classified into a plurality of albums and are preserved in the image database, and album representative thumbnail image data representing each album is preserved in the image database together with album name information. With respect to an electronic album, album representative thumbnail image data and album name information are received from the image database and are displayed to efficiently and quickly select the album, which desired image data belongs t, on the basis of text information and visual information. |
