PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical fiber attached-ferrule that can be connected with an angle adjusted around the optical axis relative to a light source and also to provide its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: The optical fiber-attached ferrule is composed of an optical fiber 2 which has a wedge-shaped optical surface with slopes 2a, 2b formed at the tip end on both sides of the surface including the optical axis of the optical fiber, and a ferrule 1 which supports the optical fiber protruded from the tip end and which has slopes 1a, 1b as the tip end shoulders corresponding to the slopes of the optical fiber 2. As the manufacturing method of this optical fiber-attached ferrule, the tip end of the naked optical fiber 2 is protruded from the ferrule 1, fixed and polished simultaneously with one shoulder of the ferrule 1, and again polished similarly with the other shoulder of the ferrule 1. |
