PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seal ring with a guard ring capable of facilitating manufacture, facilitating assembling to a device or a pipe, and facilitating detachment in spite of maintenance work after long-time use and having good work efficiency. SOLUTION: In this seal ring having the guard ring in the outer periphery of a rubber ring, a recessed groove 13 from the outer periphery is provided in the guard ring 12, a projection 11c projected toward the outer wall of an insert pipe is provided between the fin parts contacting the outer wall of a pipe on the inner peripheral side of the rubber ring 11, and a fitting groove 15 is provided in a position corresponding to the recessed groove 13 of the guard ring on the outer peripheral side of the rubber ring.
