PURPOSE: A fishing float using Typha angustifolia L. improved in processability of a float body corresponding to buoyancy and length fitting to the length of a fishing rod without causing damage to the float body is provided which has a low water absorption rate and can be mass produced. CONSTITUTION: Typha angustifolia L. whose skin is removed is cut to a desired length, a body is processed in a desired shape, a top and leg part are attached to the processed body, the obtained float is soaked in a vessel containing coating material and dried for 24hrs. This coating and drying process is repeated about 8 to 12 times, and three or more body materials(110) of Typha angustifolia L. are vertically and integrally combined with an instant adhesive. Thus obtained fishing float comprises: a body(100) containing a hole(120) through which the float top is penetrated and three grooves(130) in a longitudinal direction; and the float leg.
