PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drum brake device preventing transmission of an impact force due to torque fluctuation during braking to an electric motor expansively opening brake shoes. SOLUTION: A damper spring 75 transmitting a shoe control force output by a power lever 61 to an input lever 34 and absorbing the impact force transmitted from the brake shoes 3 and 4 to the power lever 61 via a linkage 7 is provided between the power lever 61 driven by the electric motor 62 of a control force generating mechanism 6 and the input lever 34 of the linkage 7 for driving the shoes receiving the shoe control force output by the power lever 61.
