SOLUTION: A pair of stator cores are made of a magnetic material, and Ns teeth are formed over the whole inner circumferences of the respective stator cores with identical pitches Ps. The respective stator cores are made to face each other with their respective teeth shifted from each other by a half of the teeth pitch Ps. An annular coil is concentrically held between the facing stator cores to form unit stators 1a, 1b. The P pieces of unit stators 1a, 1b are connected to each other with their respective teeth shifted from each other by 1/2P of the teeth pitch Ps to form a stator 1S. A rotor 1R comprises poles 6a and 6b, a permanent magnet 7, etc., and the total of Nr pieces of teeth are formed on the outer circumference of the rotor 1R. The Nr pieces of teeth are magnetized into an N-polarity rotor teeth group, comprising (Nr/2k) teeth adjacent to each other in the rotational direction and an S-polarity rotor teeth group, comprising (Nr/2k) teeth adjacent to each other in the rotational direction.
