PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new data distribution system independent from FTP and HTTP. SOLUTION: When a data provider 50 transmits a mail to which data is attached toward a mail address for prescribed data transmission, a registration processing part 12 in a host computer 4 performs prescribed inspection concerning information written in the mail. When the mail passes the inspection, data attached to it is related with mail addresses for obtaining data and retained in a data library 24. When data requesting person 60 transmits the mail toward one of the mail addresses for obtaining data, a request processing part 26 reads data related with the mail address for obtaining data and transmits the mail with the data toward the requesting person 60.
