PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize an image forming device using an intermediate transfer belt 31 or a transfer belt 120 without impairing image quality. SOLUTION: This image forming device is quipped with a plurality of photoreceptor drums 11 carrying an image, the intermediate transfer belt 31 to which the image of the drum 11 is transferred, and a primary transfer device 35 transferring the image on the belt 31 to recording material P. In the device, the images on the plurality of drums 11 are successively superposed and transferred to the belt 31, and then collectively transferred to the recording material P by the transfer device 35. Then, an angle formed by the surface B of the belt 31 to which at least one drum 11d of the plurality of drums 11 is opposed with the surface C of the transfer belt to which the drum other than at least one drum 11d is opposed is an almost right angle. |
