<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hose assembly capable of preventing electro-chemical deterioration of a rubber layer of a flexible hose by surely insulating the flexible hose and a pipe connecting fitting from each other. SOLUTION: This hose assembly is formed by connecting the pipe connecting fitting 5 and the flexible hose 1 through a caulking sleeve 7 and an insulating material 10. The flexible hose 1 has a tube-like waterproof layer 2 constituting the core of the hose, a pressure resistant reinforcing layer 3 surrounding the waterproof layer 2, and a covering layer 4. The insulating material 10 has an inner cylinder part 11 laid along the inner peripheral surface of the flexible hose 1, an outer cylinder part 12 laid along the outer peripheral surface of the flexible hose 1, and an end face part 13 connecting each one end side of the inner cylinder part and outer cylinder part. The insulating material 10 is integrally formed of electric insulating synthetic resin.</p> |
