APPLICATION STRUCTURE OF WATER TRAP

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a rise in the overall height of a top-freezer refrigerator or the like or the complication of floor cleaning depending on the water trap by preventing the freezing of drainage to enable housing of the water trap into a machine chamber. SOLUTION: A condenser 28, a fan motor 30 and a compressor 32 are arranged in that order almost in series from the front side thereof in the first housing chamber 22 of the machine chamber 16. When the fan motor 30 rotates, outside air is sucked into the first housing chamber 22 from a suction port of a front panel to cool the condenser 28 and the compressor 32 by the outside air. The heated air rising in temperature by heat exchange with the condenser 28 and the compressor 32 flows into the second housing chamber 24 from the first housing chamber 22 through a communication part 26 and then, discharged outside the machine from an exhaust port of the front panel. The water trap 40 is suspended on the ceiling part of the second housing chamber 24 and drainage accumulated in the water trap 40 is heated by the heated air.
