PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make improvement relating to stream information recording. SOLUTION: An information medium having a data area constituted to store stream data by using >=1 stream pack and a management area constituted to store management information relating to the stream data is used. The stream data includes >=1 data unit and the management information includes the first access information used in accessing the specific data unit in the stream data described above. The stream pack includes an information segment known as an application header extension. The application header extension includes the second access information (AU-START, AU-END) to be used in accessing the inside of the data unit to be accessed by the first access information.
