PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixed wireless access system on mobile communication basis, which can excellently be compatible with both a voice signal and a MO DEM signal. SOLUTION: This invention provides a wireless control station device and/or wireless subscriber unit that is provided with a means that transparently transmits a signal from a subscriber switch or a subscriber interface circuit not through a coder/decoder, a means that distributes a transparently transmitted code to slots and transmits the slots to the subscriber station unit or the control station device, a means that combines data transmitted while being distributed to the slots from the subscriber station unit or the base station device, a means that receives setting information with respect to the transmission method from a remote operation device and a means that selects the transparent transmission or coding transmission via the coder/decoder according to the setting information.
