PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a load sensor capable of avoiding errors in the printing of strain detection elements caused by the deflection of a pressure-receiving portion, and being suitable for stabilizing quality and increasing manufacturing yields. SOLUTION: The load sensor has strain detection elements 7 and 8 printed on a strain generating part 6. The tip of the pressure-receiving part 6 having a load point 6a is initially positioned below a plane B containing the printed surface of the strain generating part 6, along the direction of plate thickness. Thus, even if the pressure-receiving part 6 is deflected in a heating process during manufacture, the tip of the pressure-receiving part 6 will not be located above the printed surface of the strain generating part 6 and this prevents errors in the printing of the strain detection elements 7 and 8 caused by the deflection of the pressure-receiving part 6.
