PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in the case of exchanging the axial fan of electronic equipment fixed to a rack unit by putting the electronic equipment down from the rack unit and removing the screwed axial fan for exchange, requiring much time and labor. SOLUTION: This axial fan 10 is provided with a cassette fan 11, to which a connector 15 has been fitted, a fan fixing frame 13 fixed to an cabinet 1, and a fan case 12 connected to the fan-fixing frame 13 freely to be rotated and formed for housing the cassette fan 11 and having a connector fitted thereto. The fan case 12 is opened in the manner of hinged door, and the cassette 11 is housed therein, and the connector 15 of the cassette 11 is fitted to the connector of the fan case 12.
