PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquidizing method by which a water-absorbing swollen gel-like substance of a water-absorbing resin can be treated as a sewage not by incinerating. SOLUTION: The water-absorbing swollen gel-like substance of the water- absorbing resin and the like is mixed with an inorganic ion-based metal salt composition liquid, and the obtained liquid is treated as a sewage. A cloth or paper involving the water-absorbing swollen gel-like substance is immersed in a liquid containing an inorganic ion-based metal salt composition to liquidize and extract only the gel-like substance, thereby simplifying an incineration treatment after dehydration.
