PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a facsimile equipment the cost of the main body of which is inexpensive and whose print processing speed is enhanced and to provide an image forming device. SOLUTION: An image transfer section 4 detects an end position of dot print by each print line as to image when the image transfer section 4 transfers the image from a reception function section 2 to a print function section 3. The print function section 3 controls movement of a print head in a main scanning direction on the basis of the detected end position of dot print. Since a load imposed on a 2nd CPU 21 of the print function section 3 can be relieved, even when an inexpensive CPU operated at a comparatively lower processing speed is employed for the 2nd CPU, the print processing speed is not decreased. Furthermore, the cost of the main body can be reduced.
