PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell stack safety operation device and its operation method, which can efficiently control elimination of moisture from a gas duct when a stack of fuel cells is moved. SOLUTION: The stack safety operation device of fuel cells 10 is equipped with a vibration means 31 to vibrate a stack at least in two directions from among vertical components to the direction of cell lamination, that is, laminated direction of the cells and an inward direction of the cell surface. Also, a rotating means 32 to rotate the stack with the cell lamination direction as an axis is equipped. And cells are laminated with a surface parallel to the cell surface involving the axis as a center of symmetry. A stack 23 is sloped by a sloping means 33 so that a reacting gas exhausting hole inside a reacting surface be the lowest part in the reacting surface. Then, the operating method of the fuel cell stack safety operating device activates a stack operating means 30 when flooding occurs. |
