PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrochemical device with excellent safety, without problem of short circuit between electrodes, and not developing into a hard short even when a cell is deformed, due to high strength of a lamination body. SOLUTION: The electrochemical device, comprising a lamination body laminating positive electrodes and negative electrodes through separators, is formed by strongly integrating at least partial areas of the peripheral part of the separator of the laminated body by making them adhere to each other, or, by arranging a heat shrinkable film so as to wrap the outer periphery of the lamination body, and further, strongly integrating at least partial areas of the peripheral part of the separator of the laminated body by making them adhere to each other. |
