PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photoreceptor and the production thereof, the photoreceptor being highly durable, capable of preventing an image deterioration caused by a residual potential increase or image blur, and steadily obtaining a high quality image despite long repeated use, and to provide an electrophotographic method, electrophotographic device, and electrophotographic device process cartridge whereby the need for the photoreceptor is eliminated by the use of the photoreceptor, high speed printing and device miniaturization involving a reduction in the diameter of the photoreceptor are realized, and a high quality image can be steadily obtained even in long use. SOLUTION: In the electrophotographic photoreceptor having at least on a conductive substrate a photoreceptive layer containing at least charge generation substance and a charge transfer substance, a protective layer is provided on the photoreceptive layer. The protective layer contains filler, dispersant, and at least two kinds of antioxidant.
