PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a heat exchanger where the header can be mounted without fail. SOLUTION: A plurality of tubes 3 are disposed at specified pitches on a set base 1, and fine 5 are inserted severally into the space among these tubes 3. These tubes 3 and the fins 5 are compressed in the direction of their disposition, and each slit 58 and 59 in the headers 6 and 7 is inserted into the end of each tube 3. The above headers 6 and 7 in hollow form are mounted at both ends in the longitudinal direction of the above tube 3, and then end covers 127 for blocking the holes 125 and 126 opening at both ends of those headers 6 and 7 are attached. |
