PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To authenticate a user, using a moving sensor. SOLUTION: This electronic equipment is provided with a motion detecting part 12 for detecting moving information of the electronic equipment, a computing part 13 for calculating a moving pattern of a locus along which the electronic equipment moves based on the moving information detected by the detecting part 12, a storage part 14 for storing the moving pattern calculated by the computing part 13 as a reference moving pattern, a comparison means 13 for reading out the reference moving pattern stored in the storage part 14 to be compared with the moving pattern calculated by the computing part 13, and an authentication processing part 13 for authenticating the user of the electronic equipment in response to a comparison result by the comparison means 13 to permit use of the electronic equipment. |
