PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tunnel excavator and its recovering method capable of recovering the structures constituting the excavator for reuse. SOLUTION: A cutter head 23 is formed of a cutter head center section 26 and a cutter head outer peripheral section 27. A drive section body 17 fitted with a rotary ring 20, a ring gear 21, and a drive motor 24 or the like is removably fitted to an excavator body 11. The cutter head center section 26 and the cutter head outer peripheral section 27 are removably fitted to an intermediate beam 22 extended forward from the rotary ring 20. |
