PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a balcony work method and its construction which permit easy comings and goings of the aged, a physically handicapper persons and people riding wheelchairs between indoor spaces and the balcony. SOLUTION: A backing floor member 6 arranged on a beam 4 at the side where the balcony 2 is provided, a lower end 10a of wall opening 10 connected to an indoor space 8 with a lower beam 12 at the side of a wall opening 10 arranged to a higher position than the backing floor member 6, and a finish floor member 16 is arranged on a backing floor member 6 with the floor surface 26 of the balcony 2 of the indoor space 8 at almost the same height. In this way, by the finish floor member 16 arranged on the backing floor member 6, the floor surface 26 of the balcony 2 has almost the same height as the floor surface 26 of the indoor space 8, and any level difference between the balcony 2 and the indoor space 8 is eliminated.
