PURPOSE:To provide a heat sensitive recording material, with which a high coloring density can be obtained without increasing the amount of electron donating dye precursor and, at the same time, which is excellent in the green keeping properties of recording material and the keeping properties of recorded image. CONSTITUTION:The heat-sensitive recording material is produced by providing at least one heat-sensitive coloring layer containing electron donating dye precursor and electron accepting compound as coloring component on a support. The electron donating dye precursor is encapsulated in microcapsules. Further, the molar ratio of the electron accepting compound in the heat-sensitive coloring layer to the electron donating dye precursor shall be 10-30. |
