PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a method for information processing, an information reproducing device, and a home electrical product which can provide only information having high utility value for a user at low cost. SOLUTION: On a server 20 that a broadcasting station operating an information providing system 10 owns, image data showing an advertisement provided by an advertiser and category data indicating the category that the advertisement belongs to are stored while made to correspond to each other, and the broadcasting of broadcast data including the image data and category data is controlled. An information terminal 50 that a customer owns receives the broadcast data, stores only image data which are included in the received broadcast data and decided to belong to a category specified by the customer which owns the information terminal 50, and also reproduces the stored image data. |
