PURPOSE: Apparatus for treating wastewater using plasma of low temperature is provided, which is characterized in that ion of wastewater being molecular state is divided into ion of atomic state by collision with plasma ion in an ion accelerator. Therefore wastewater treatment efficiency of the apparatus using plasma is better than conventional apparatus using supersonic wave or electron wave. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus comprises the following parts: an ion accelerator(1) for collision of wastewater ion and plasma ion; an electrode(2) for generating plasma ion; a collect electrode plate(3) for accelerating movement of wastewater ion by supplying plasma electric current; a coil(4) for standstill of plasma in the ion accelerator(1) for increasing collision of wastewater ion and plasma ion; a core(5) equipped with the ion accelerator(1) for improving plasma electric current flow; and a part for operating above parts.
