PURPOSE: A micro-strip folded dipole omni-antenna is provided to make omni directional transceiving characteristic uniform by minimizing feeding line and entire patch area and directional characteristic due to dielectric. CONSTITUTION: A micro-strip folded dipole omni-antenna comprises folded dipole antenna elements(102a,102b) printed on both sides(110,120) of a micro-strip substrate. The folded dipole antenna elements(102a,102b) are connected to each other by using a shorting hole(122). Each of the folded dipole antenna elements(102a,102b) covers 180° to have omni-direction feature. The folded dipole antenna elements(102a,102b) receive power from a feeding line(114). A 4 distributing circuit(116) for readily supplying RF characteristic of the folded dipole antenna member(102a) and a coupling feeding unit(118) for supplying power are printed on the front side(110) of the micro-strip substrate. A ground(124) and a cable feeding ground(126) are printed on the rear side(120) of the micro-strip substrate.
