PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charge clearing system and a charge clearing method which make it possible to use all facilities without any cash, can improve the security, and make it possible to clear all expenses together. SOLUTION: A charge clearing system 1 for a hotel has a camera 2 for registration which obtains face data on a customer, a room entry managing server 3 which records the face data obtained through the camera 2, a camera 4 for comparison which is installed in front of a guest room door, a CPU unit 5 for decision making which compares face data obtained through the camera 4 for comparison with face data previously downloaded from the room entry managing server 3 to specify a customer, an electronic lock unit 6 which unlocks the guest room door where the customer is specified, and a receipt issuing machine 7 installed by facilities in the hotel. This system 1 compares the face data of the customer to unlock the guest room door and automatically clears use charges for the facilities in the hotel including a room charge by comparing the face data. |
