PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical recording medium in which the structure of a groove resulting from wobbles prepared on both sides of the groove does not affect the polarization direction of a laser beam radiated in order to reproduce signals, and to provide an optical reproducing apparatus therefor. SOLUTION: Among reproduced signals from an optical head 112, the reproduced signal of the magneto-optical signal is sent to a signal demodulation circuit 118 and a tracking correction circuit 250, and a tracking error signal is sent to a tracking correction circuit. Among the reproduced signals, the reproduced signal from the wobbles prepared on the wall of both sides of the groove is sent to a wobble detection circuit 115. The wobble detection circuit 115 detects the wobble signal, and the obtained wobble signal is sent to a tracking correction circuit 250. The tracking correction circuit 250 detects the amount of tracking deviation by using the reproduced signal and wobble signal of the magneto-optical signal which have been received, and corrects the tracking error signal with the detected deviation. |
