PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a valve assembly operated to decrease a fluid flow when not required and open the valve when an enough flow is needed. SOLUTION: This valve assembly 1 has a housing 2 having an inlet 4 and an output 6 apart from the inlet 4, and a means disposed in the housing 2 to control a fluid flow between the inlet 4 and the outlet 6. The controlling means includes a main valve 16 movable between a first relatively closing position and a second open position. The movement of the main valve 16 is controlled by a pilot valve assembly 38 including a thermally sensitive member, so that when the fluid temperature reaches a designated value, the pilot valves 36, 42 are opened to thereby move the main valve 16 from the first relatively closing position to the second open position.
