摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a cold cathode fluorescent discharge tube that can form easily the fluorescent membrane of excellent uniformity and thickness. SOLUTION: In the manufacturing method of a cold cathode fluorescent discharge tube, after fluorescent membrane forming solvent is introduced in the glass tube 20, firstly the glass tube 20 is made to rotate at a first speed of relatively slow speed on the rotating axis in the longitudinal tube direction, and with the condition of plural kinds of fluorescent material having different gravity in the fluorescent membrane forming solvent being dispersed uniformly, the fluorescent membrane forming solvent is adhered to the glass tube 20. Next, the glass tube 20 is made to rotate at a second speed of relatively high speed on the rotating axis in the longitudinal tube direction, and by keeping the condition of the fluorescent material being dispersed uniformly, the fluorescent membrane forming solvent is adhered strongly to the inner wall of the glass tube 20. Thereby, a fluorescent membrane having excellent uniformity and thickness can be formed even in the case of a glass tube of smaller diameter.
