PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color photographic element in which both of reactivity and stability are improved. SOLUTION: The color photographic element contains a yellow dye forming coupler expressed by formula I. In formula, B is a substituent having six or more carbon atoms, L is a group coupled to the anilide ring by a carbon, sulfur or oxygen atom, R is a substituent, n is 0 to 3, X is a soluble group containing acidic protons, Y is a substituent, Z is selected from H, chloro group, alkoxy group and aryloxy group.
