PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a variable information display medium having on-demand hologram images of high security and aesthetic characteristics which cannot be expressed by the conventional printing technique. SOLUTION: This hologram printer to the variable information display medium includes at least input means (1) for inputting image information of designs, characters, etc., control means (2) containing image processing software for processing the image information and controlling the entire part of the device, conveyance means (3 and 9) for conveying hologram transfer foil ribbons to printing position in accordance with the inputted signals, transfer printing control means (4) including the thermal head (5) making high-grade printing possible by controlling the positions to print the variable information display medium likewise in accordance with the inputted information and enhancing the accuracy of the temperature detection on the medium and conveyance means (6) for conveying the variable information display medium to the printing position. |
